Is it safe for me to get a Massage?

If you feel healthy, have no symptoms, and have not travelled in the last 30-days, or have been associated with someone who has, absolutely, come in for a massage!

YES:

  • If you feel healthy and have an overall sense of wellbeing.

NO:

  • If you have respiratory issues, cold-like, or flu-like symptoms.

  • If you have a fever of 38° C or greater.

  • If you have been diagnosed with COVID-19 or have been tested and are awaiting results.

  • If you have been in contact with someone that might have experienced any of the above

  • symptoms or might have exposed you to COVID-19.

We know that massage therapy is an important part of your wellness routine, with many health benefits that help you physically, mentally, and emotionally. Research has also shown massage to be beneficial for helping to enhance your immune system and heighten immune response by increasing the activity level of the body’s white blood cells that work to combat viruses.

Appointment Procedures

When you arrive at the Parish Hall “Sunset Massage Clinic” you must stay in your car until myself, your Massage Therapist comes to the door to unlock. Then you will enter and proceed for your much anticipated and deserving treatment. After your treatment you are asked to exit through the Emergency Doors which are located on the north and south sides of the building.

Disclamer

Please note that there is always risk in public areas and in any close contact between two people, during a time of outbreak. The Massage Therapist is mandated to stay home if ill, and we ask that all our Clinic Guests enter only if in good health. If both parties have an overall sense of wellbeing, and are wearing protective equipment, getting a massage should be a safe practice
